We are pleased to announce the release of the permalp.at homepage. The project permalp.at investigates the permafrost distribution of the Upper Tauern range (Austria). The homepage presents all project related informations. An interactive WebGIS application shows the results of a pilot study (diploma thesis) simulating Austria's permafrost distribution using the models PERMAKART and PERM. This dataset is free to download as a KML file for GoogleEarth.
